Tarot Reading FAQ
Here are honest, plain answers to the questions people ask most before booking a tarot reading. If yours is not here, the booking form is a good place to ask.
Is tarot real?
Tarot is real in the sense that it is a genuine, centuries-old tradition of illustrated cards used for reflection. Whether it works through anything beyond psychology is something people disagree about, and no one has proven it. Many people find it useful as a structured way to think about their lives, regardless of belief. Richa treats it as a tool for guidance and reflection, and she will not claim more for it than that. Is tarot accurate?
Accuracy is a tricky word for tarot. It is not a measuring instrument, and it cannot be checked like a weather forecast. A better question is whether a reading feels honest and useful to you. Some readings resonate strongly, and others do not. If a card does not fit, say so. Treat anything the cards suggest as a perspective to consider, and weigh it against your own knowledge of your life.
Can tarot predict the future?
No, not with certainty, and anyone who guarantees outcomes should be treated with caution. Tarot reflects patterns, feelings and possibilities in your situation as it stands today. The future depends on many things, including your own choices, which can change what happens. Richa uses the cards to explore where a path may lead and what you could do about it, not to announce what must happen.
How often can I get a reading?
As often as feels helpful, but more is not always better. Asking the same question again and again rarely brings clarity, and it can feed anxiety. Many people book when something has genuinely changed or when they face a decision. If you notice you are depending on readings to make every choice, take a break and trust your own judgment for a while.
Is an online reading as good as one in person?
Yes, in the ways that matter. The cards, the interpretation and the conversation are the same. Online readings add convenience: you can join from home, from anywhere in the world, and choose a quiet moment that suits you. Some people prefer the feel of sitting at a table together, and that is understandable. Live video keeps the back-and-forth that makes a reading personal. See what to expect in a tarot reading for the full picture.
Is it safe and private?
Your reading is a private, one-to-one conversation, and what you share stays between you and Richa. You decide how much to say, and you never need to give names or sensitive details. Richa does not claim to know private information about you or anyone else. For how the website handles data, see the privacy policy linked in the footer. If anything makes you uncomfortable, you can skip it or say so at any point.
Do I need to believe in tarot?
No. You do not need faith, spiritual practice or any tarot knowledge. Skeptics often enjoy readings because the cards give them a fresh way to look at a familiar problem. All that is needed is openness and a real question. Many people simply arrive curious, and that is a perfectly good starting point. If you are unsure, try the free tarot reading first and see how it feels.
What questions should I ask?
Open questions work best, especially ones that begin with "what" or "how", such as "What do I need to understand about this situation?" Avoid questions that ask for certainty about another person's thoughts or a guaranteed result. Please leave out medical, legal and financial questions, which belong with qualified professionals. If you need help wording yours, send a rough version when you book.
How do reversed cards work?
A reversed card is one that appears upside down. It usually suggests a blocked, delayed, internalized or excessive version of the card's usual theme, rather than something bad. Not every reader uses reversals, and no rule is universal. Richa reads them as another angle on the same story, always in the context of the surrounding cards and your question. You can see both positions on every card meaning page.
Should I choose a voice note or a live reading?
Choose a voice note if you have one focused question and like to listen at your own pace. It is $15 and arrives within 48 hours. Choose a live reading if you want to talk, ask follow-ups and explore more than one theme: Love & Path is $35 for 30 minutes, and the Celtic Cross is $59 for 50 minutes with a recording. Compare them on the readings page.
What about refunds?
Refund terms depend on the reading and the circumstances, so the clearest source is the refund policy, which is written in plain language. If something goes wrong, such as a technical problem, or you have a concern about your booking, contact Richa promptly and she will do her best to put it right. Please read the policy before you book, and see the disclaimer for the limits of a reading.
Can tarot give yes or no answers?
It can, but yes or no is the thinnest slice of what tarot offers. Some cards lean toward yes and others toward no, and many are maybes. A single card cannot account for your whole situation. Try the yes or no tarot if you like, but use it as a prompt for thought, not a verdict, and ask an open question when the decision truly matters.
